03/30 Chop Lloyd: Fluid Form [Hands-On Workshop]
INTENSIVE HANDS-ON COURSE
Limited Seats. Immersive Experience. Chop Lloyd’s first-ever Bay Area hands-on course.
A focused theory session led by John, breaking down the fundamentals of face shapes, section lines, and elevation control in the simplest and most effective way possible. While most stylists are familiar with basic cutting concepts, modern education has overcomplicated these principles with excessive techniques and conflicting methods. This session is designed to neutralize common theories and simplify how to identify structure, create balance, and achieve predictable results in every haircut.
Following the theory, John will demonstrate two full haircut processes on a mannequin. The first will focus on a longer length structure, followed by a second haircut showcasing a shorter length approach. Both demonstrations will be completely gender-neutral, emphasizing adaptable techniques that work across all clients. Participants will learn how to modify shapes, lengths, and finishes to suit an increasingly fluid market, where haircuts are no longer defined by gender but by time, structure, and customization.
This approach reflects the future of the industry, allowing professionals to expand their client base while pricing services based on expertise and time rather than length or gender
